Dan McConchie wins our enthusiastic endorsement for the open Senate seat in District 26 (Barrington, Barrington Hills, North Barrington, Libertyville, Mundelein, Lake Zurich, Fox River Grove, Lakewood Hills, Cary, Hawthorn Woods, Lake in the Hills, Cuba and Kildeer). Dan is Vice President of Government Affairs for Americans United for Life and on the Board for a local pregnancy resource center. He has a tremendous knowledge of and passion for issues important for life and family in our state, similar to (now State Rep) Peter Breen, who has served with distinction in his first term in office as an “ICE-PAC Grad.” Dan has two primary challengers. We endorse Jerry Long for State Representative in House District 76 (parts of LaSalle, Bureau, and Putnam Counties including Ottawa and Oglesby). He is a staunch supporter of pro-life and pro-family issues, and ran against a 23-year incumbent in the last election and almost won. Now this seat is open, and Jerry’s primary opponent supports euthanasia, redefining marriage and mandated contraceptive sex education starting in grade 6.
Avery Bourne wins our endorsement for the 95th District (Alton area – parts of Madison, Montgomery, and Christian Counties). She was named to this seat a year ago due to a resignation, and has shown herself to have an excellent grasp of life and family issues, as well as intellect and drive. Avery is an incumbent and has two challengers in the primary.
We endorse Brad Holbrook for State Rep in House District 102 (parts of Shelby, Moultrie, Champaign, Douglas, and Edgar Counties). Brad has served well in the IL General Assembly before, with an excellent track record of voting against harmful bills and sponsoring and voting for pro-life and pro-family legislation. Brad has two challengers for this open seat.
In Senate District 58, we endorse Sharee Langenstein, an attorney who has spent years in Springfield advocating on behalf of pro-life and pro-family issues.
We endorse Frank Mautino for State Rep in House District 76.
We endorse Brandon Phelps for State Rep in House District 118.
We endorse Daniel Beiser for State Rep in House District 111.
