The Christian Post has published a helpful article describing some of the ways in which Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers are funded at both the state and the federal level.
Although the Hyde Amendment, passed in the 1970s, makes it illegal for
the federal government to pay for most abortions, Planned Parenthood
receives approximately $360 million per year in federal grants and
contracts. Most states have mandates in their constitutions that state
funds must cover abortions, and more than 92 percent of abortion
patients on Medicaid in states that cover abortion make use of state
funding.
